Talk: Sam "Smit"

This is the talk page for Sam "Smit". Notes below are about sourcing, not about the music being good or bad.

No birth date

The Spotify and TIDAL bios say he started producing at 16 and had been producing hip-hop for about ten years at the time those bios were written. That is not enough to print a birth year. Leave the infobox without one until a dated source says so.

Before 2026

The article’s release table is the 2026 streaming catalog: Play Palace through Stare Case. His own bio mentions a longer run of instrumentals, and a September 2026 post says he has been active since the 2000s. Those earlier titles are not listed here because the pages reviewed did not name them. Add a row only with a link to the release.

How the name is styled

Use Sam “Smit” with quotation marks, matching Spotify and Apple Music. SAM SMIT is the social-media styling. GO GO SAM and Smitonabeat are promo and beat-side names, not the streaming billing. The English singer Sam Smith does not belong in the infobox.
