Sam Smit (disambiguation)

Sam Smit or Sam "Smit" may refer to:

• Sam "Smit", American hip-hop and R&B producer and rapper from Virginia, of the Play Palace series, releasing through Sam “Smit” Productions. Styled with quotation marks on Spotify and Apple Music. X: @Sam_Smit.
• Sam Smith, the English singer-songwriter (not the subject of this reference). The shared first name is a common mix-up; the catalogs, genres, and billing are different.
• Other artists credited on Apple Music simply as “Sam Smit,” including a dance act with a separate artist ID and singles such as “Spinning Out.” Those records are not part of the Play Palace catalog.

In September 2026 the Virginia producer posted that he was aware of another creator using a nearby name and asked to be identified as Sam Smit the producer.[1]
